Logo for the 2012 Muny production of Thoroughly Modern Millie. A love story set in the roaring Manhattan of the 1920s, the heroine is climbing up the social ladder even as the skyscrapers are rising to new heights. The challenge with this logo was creating something that appealed to both male and female theatergoers. The heart is offset by strong architectural elements and strategic use of a neutral but attractive blue.
